I switched to digital a few years ago after working in analog black and white for over 30 years. Hiding out from covid restricted my opportunities for new field work. The endless possibilities of altering hue, saturation and luminance in Lightroom prompted me to break out of the old ways of interpreting my photographs. What has delighted me most is the difference in mood and emotional response that is made possible when the photograph is in color as opposed to when it is monochrome.
